Montessori makes math fun!

Montessori students are challenging themselves in the classroom through a variety of math activities.

Preschoolers are participating in the Bead Stair activity. This exercise helps the child associate quantities one through nine with their numerals. This material is also used for single digit addition, by adding the beads together.

Children are also taking part in the Stamp Game. In Ms. Olivia’s class, students are utilizing this activity as a tool for different math operations. The child uses the Stamp Game for dynamic addition, adding four digital equation and carrying over two lines.
