Beaver Computing Challenge
Richmond Hill Montessori Private School STEM club members recently competed in The Beaver Computing Challenge.
The challenge is a problem-solving contest with a focus on computational and logical thinking.
Questions are inspired by topics in computer science but only require comfort with concepts found in mathematics curriculum common to all provinces.
The contest is run by the University of Waterloo and top students are recognized and awarded. It is a nation-wide contest, with participants from all over Canada.
