RHMS grade five students are applying the probability of compound events in games they've created.
The students were responsible for designing and creating a probability game, like a dice or spinning game. They then measured the outcomes in the following ways: theoretical probability, and through experimental probability – with the grade three students assisting their older peers in the latter.
Grade fives had to document the events through a spreadsheet, by drawing a tree diagram and using a mathematical equation to represent the scenario.
