In STEM Class, RHMS grade 7 students joined The Great Outdoors hosted by the Ontario Science Centre.
The students discovered an incredible range of animals from bears to beavers to birds and beetles. They studied their habitats and ecosystems in Northern and Southern Ontario. The virtual field trip allowed the students to understand the critical importance that all of the creatures, big and small, play in their environments.
The presentation was an excellent way to engage students to explore the ecological communities of our province as a class from the comfort of their own home.
