RHMS Takes Kiwanis!

Over the past 6 weeks, students involved in the RHMS Band, Junior Choir and Senior Choir prepared to participate in the annual Kiwanis competition held in Toronto. Each group attended their own session in which they participated against numerous schools located throughout the GTA. Each ensemble did extremely well, and came home with notable achievements. The RHMS Band achieved a Silver status, the RHMS Junior Choir achieved a Gold status, and the RHMS Senior Choir achieved a Gold status with a First Place standing.

 

A special thank you goes out to our parent volunteers, along with Ms. Lopresti and Mr. Rico, who accompanied Ms. Meharchand on these excursions. Ms. Meharchand is incredibly proud of each group and is looking forward to our next competition, which will be the Music Alive festival in April.
