Step Right Up To Carnival Day

For the past few weeks, the grades 4’s were immersed in various probability activities and experiments. To apply their learning, students were asked to design their own game in groups that would be played at a carnival. The groups had to apply their learning by determining the theoretical and experimental probability of their game to analyze if their game was fair and logical. 

Our students definitely outdid themselves from creating their unique games to designing out of this world prizes for their contestants. What the grade 4’s look forward to most, is hosting their carnival for the other grade 4 students to test out their probability games. Our carnival games are the perfect wrap-up for the hard work performed by the grade 4’s during this unit.
