RHMS Grade 4 students travelled to the ROM for a workshop on Ancient Egypt.
On Monday, May 29, 2017 all grade four classes travelled to the ROM for a workshop on Ancient Egypt. The students were given an overview of early Egyptian life by a museum instructor. All classes participated in a hands-on activity of analysing important Egyptian artifacts. Then the students visited the Ancient Egypt Gallery and were able to see mummies and other preserved pieces. The students all had a great time learning about Egyptian life and applying their knowledge to this hands-on activity.
Additionally, they had the opportunity to explore various sections of the museum which enhanced the overall learning experience for all grade 4 students. Miss Uzunomur, Miss Matthews and Miss Cruz would like to thank all the parents for volunteering on the trip.
