Grade 3 Students Reflect on Term 1 and Prepare for Student Led Conferences
Grade 3 students in Ms. Tiana Lynch’s class engaged in meaningful self-reflection this week by identifying what they liked about Term 1. They thought about what they had learned so far in Math such as Patterning and Algebra, Place Value, and Basic Operations. Students identified what their strengths were, what they needed to improve on, and what their goals were for the rest of the year. The class took advantage of their iPads to take pictures of five pieces of work in each subject that they were excited to showcase to their parents. This process helps our students to discover the ways in which they can improve their skills independently and self-evaluate. Similar reflections will be happening for the other classes in Grades 1-4 as students prepare for their conferences later this week.
