Show Your Grit RHMS

At last week’s character trait assembly, Richmond Hill Montessori Private School students learned about grit. The elementary students were shown famous authors, inventors, and entertainers who encountered obstacles at first, but later succeeded because of their determination and perseverance in achieving their dreams. Students were treated to a motivational speech by their Student Council President as well as an interpretive dance. Our Montessori students also received a version of the presentation through our elementary Student Council members. Our senior students helped the Montessori classes learn about never giving up in an animated way that helped them understand what grit is all about. Everyone learned that grit is an important quality to have in order to succeed in school and in life.
