Marvellous Mentoring

Student-Led Conferences at Richmond Hill Montessori Private School are here, and yesterday Grade 1 and Grade 3 students collaborated together to prepare for the big day. Using the Book Creator app on their iPads, Grade 1 students have been creating digital books that tell their story of Term 1. They incorporated photos, audio clips, and more into their pages. Since it is the Grade 1 students’ first conference, their Grade 3 mentors stepped in to help them prepare. The Grade 3 students were patient, practiced good listening skills, and gave helpful feedback, setting a good example for their younger peers.
