Grade 2 Students Visited by Scientists in the School
Use force, of course! The Grade 2 students were visited by special guests Scientists in the School for a fun-filled day of science experiments. Students measured force in Newtons by launching pompoms across their desk with a wooden catapult. RHMS students showed incredible kindness to one another, waiting patiently and sharing all of the jobs in the experiment with one another. They also learned about the attract and repel properties of magnets, the use of friction to pull a tablecloth from under a plate, and the fun effects of static electricity!
