Students Build Sound Structures in Friendly Competition

The riveting RHMS Science Olympics are in full swing this week as students take on new and inventive building challenges! So far, our Grade 1 and 2 students have used everything from chickpeas and toothpicks, to straws and pipe cleaners to build some remarkable structures! The teams of three worked their hardest and put their minds together to come up with inventive building strategies. Everyone showed great enthusiasm and teamwork. The Science Olympics will be running all week, challenging students in Grades 1 through 8 who will put their best brains forward to make new scientific discoveries during the friendly competition.
