Montessori Students Learn About the Olympics Through the Human Body
The spirit of the Olympics was alive in Room 106 for an exciting ski-themed activity! Students learned about the power of their lungs when they used a straw to blow their Olympic skiers down the slope. This fun activity was a great way to introduce the students to the Olympic games, while also learning about their lungs. Everyone got to mark how far down the mountain their skier got, and learned that the more air they exerted, the farther their skier travelled. Students will be learning more about the Human Body in their new unit!
