Pink Shirt Day

Yesterday RHMS Students in Grade 3B took a stand against bullying by wearing pink for Pink Shirt Day. Pink Shirt Day is a movement celebrated across the globe to raise awareness for children affected by bullying. This year, cyberbullying was the focus of Pink Shirt Day, and this was an important issue to our students who learn about digital citizenship in the curriculum. Grade 3B’s teacher Mrs. Eisfeld, had some great words to share with her students about showing kindness to one another whether you are online or off. Use the internet to spread kindness not just on these special days, but every day. After all, nice needs no filter!
