RHMS Takes Kiwanis Music Festival

All year we have been following the RHMS Junior and Senior Choirs and Band on their exciting musical journeys. Before the March Break, all three ensembles attended the prestigious Kiwanis Music Festival held each year in Toronto where they were invited to perform, gather feedback from the judges, and listen to their peers’ choirs and bands. They participated amongst numerous schools located throughout the GTA.

 

Each ensemble performed extremely well and took home esteemed achievements. Our Junior and Senior choirs both won Gold standing and our Band won Silver standing. A special thank you goes out to our parent volunteers for supporting our students. Ms. Meharchand and Ms. Taylor are incredibly proud of all the hard work and dedication the students have shown and are looking forward to RHMS’ next competition at Music Alive in April!
