Students dive into Chicago's rich history
A 4-day trip to The Windy City
Chicago is known for its rich history, a transformative music scene, and its interesting architecture. Grade seven and eight students at RHMS experienced its beauty and grit on a four-day trip to The Windy City.
Students toured The Field Museum and Chicago History Museum, where they were challenged to analyze, problem-solve and interpret the past. As well, students enjoyed Chicago's premier commercial district, Magnificent Mile, and internationally renowned Andy's Jazz Club, where live jazz and blues are performed every night of the week.
To mark an end of a history-driven tour, students ventured to the Willis Tower Skydeck, where they were treated to a spectacular view of four states from more than 1,300 feet high.
