Money in Math: Grade 2 Workshop
Students learn to budget in a fun and creative way
RHMS grade two students applied real life skills in the classroom for their Money in Math workshop.
The students learned how to count money using mental math strategies; how to make change; identify different types of money (i.e., coins and bills); as well as estimate sums and differences.
The workshop featured four centres, designed for students to practice their skills in creative ways, as well as in a fun and engaging environment.
