Grade ones participate in a rhythm-wellness session
RHMS grade one students had the opportunity to participate in an "out-of-the-box" style wellness class. The class included hand drums, shakers, and percussion instruments. Children were also asked to sing, move and create a rhythm circle together.
The workshop is designed to build community and classroom spirit, explore different ways of communicating, and to help students develop listening skills.
