French students shine in end-of-the year performances

Grades three and four showcase their French language and performance skills in two colourful plays

RHMS grades three and four students performed French plays before an audience of their peers, earlier this month.

Grade three students performed "Comment Y Aller," which follows a young Quebec girl named Marie, who travels to Paris to visit a friend.

Meanwhile, grade four students' play was set in Africa. The play, "l'Arbre Ungali," features a number of animal characters, including a lion, zebra and turtle, who await the end of a drought.

These performances allowed students to increase their French vocabulary while practicing dialogue, and associated gestures.
