Exploring nature at the Brick Works
Children connect with nature at Evergreen Brick Works
Evergreen Brick Works welcomed RHMS Grade 2 students on-site for an autumn visit, last week.
Students had an opportunity to have direct contact with nature, enjoyed a multi-sensory learning environment and participated in ecological themes. The grade 2s also had a chance to be creative and artistic through compelling narratives and a variety of activities.
Brick Works is located in the heart of Toronto’s ravine system. They use natural, ecological, and physical architecture to connect children to nature and cultivate their ecological literacy.
