Community Enhancing Careers: Police
Montessori students meet a real life police constable
Montessori students are continuing their unit on community enhancement professions. This week, they had a visit from York Regional Police and were designated “Junior Constables.”
The children learned about the constable’s daily duties, what equipment they wear for protection and general safety tips, including bicycle safety.
This is part two in a series of community enhancing guest speakers.
