Grade 5s study the diversity of living things
RHMS Grade 5s participated in the "Classy Critters Life Systems" workshop offered by Scientists in the School.
The workshop became taxonomists, creating order from the vast diversity of living things. Students also investigated preserved specimens and identified important connections between species.
Finally, the Grade 5s examined the microscopic world of protists and monerans, and saw how small life on earth can be, all while studying the similarities and differences between them.
