Maple Syrup Making with Montessori
Prechoolers learn how maple syrup is created
RHMS preschool students visited the Kortright Centre for Conservation to participate in its annual Maple Syrup Festival.
The event featured a hands-on workshop, introducing students to the maple bush and providing a personalized tour. The children had an opportunity to watch demonstrations on how maple trees are tapped for sap.
The experience also included the history of syrup making from Aboriginal to Modern day times.
