Grade 7s build "Lord of the Flies" islands
Grade 7s showcase creative skills in diorama displays
RHMS Grade 7 students recently wrapped up their studies on the 1954 novel by William Golding, "Lord of the Flies."
As part of their analysis, the students created their own miniature dioramas and displays of the novel's island -- the uninhabited island in the Pacific Ocean.
Students used a variety of materials, and showcased the island's mountains, irregular arc of coral, and lagoon.
