RHMS student goes gold at YRSTF
Grade 7 gold medalist advances to national fair
RHMS students impressed at this year's York Regional Science and Technology Fair. All RHMS projects medaled or received an award, with advancement to the national fair.
Six RHMS students competed at the fair, with Grade 7 Gold medal winner Pauline Botros advancing to the Canada-wide Science Fair in Fredericton from May 11-17.
Botros' project focused on creating reusable plastics from different types of fruits.
RHMS student Azadeh Hemani received silver; Catherine Makarytchev wins bronze and "Best in Fair" for Engineering and Physics; Viona Etemadi and Elisha Kieser also earn bronze; and Alysha Selvarajah receives an Honourable Mention.
