Digging for Worms
Montessori students take part in sensory activity
RHMS preschool students collected earthworms for the classroom worm block, this week.
Digging for worms is also a simple sensory activity; students can feel the soil and slippery worms -- allowing them to practice their fine motor and transferring skills.
Overall, students enjoyed a safe and diverse outdoor learning experience, while building a positive relationship with the natural world around them.
