RHMS Remembers
Today, the Elementary students of RHMS honoured the Veterans who served in times of war, conflict and peace to acknowledge Remembrance Day. As part of an art task, each classroom worked on beautiful bright poppy drawings to showcase at home as a window display along with some sketches that showed emphasis of Remembrance Day symbols, including soldiers, poppies, crosses and memorial tombstones. Each sketch was compiled into a Google Slides memorial presentation that was shared online for all to see. Many students will be submitting their poster in this year's Royal Canadian Legion’s Remembrance Day poster contest. Best of luck to all of our students who are participating.
