Sign Of The Times

The students in Ms Coady’s class 6A have been working on a special feature during the RHMS Sunrise morning announcements. Each student learned American Sign Language.  ASL is a natural language that serves as the predominant sign language for deaf communities in the United States and most of Canada.  It is expressed by facial expression as well as movements and motions with the hands. During the past week, the students showcased the alphabet and a welcome to the sunrise greeting.
