Montessori Food Sources

Where does our food come from? RHMS Montessori students learned all about food sources as part of their science unit this month.  They spoke about foods that we get from animals such as meats, poultry and dairy as well as foods that we get from plants such as fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds.  The children discovered that milk does not always come from cows! To celebrate harvest season, the students will continue to learn about how food travels from farms to our homes.
