Brian The Brain Head Space

RHMS grade 5 students were in for a treat today.  They traveled virtually to the Richmond Hill Public Library for a visit with author and educator Jenny Mouse.  Jenny Mouse is the author of Brian the Brain Head Space, a scientifically accurate book about the power of your brain. 

The students learned through Brian’s adventures the importance of food, sleep, mental health, brain functions and development.   They were also led in a hands-on activity that will empower them to develop a growth mindset. 

What a wonderful virtual experience to take on a cold winter morning.
