RHMS Grade 8 students are ending the school year with a Space Mission design and engineering challenge. This challenge consisted of the students choosing from one of three designs and testing a working prototype that could help advance space technologies. Their options ranged from designing a spacesuit for a potato-naut, creating an Astro-arm or landing an eggstronaut.
The students created a summary video of their trials and tests and vlogged their journey from start to end. For a bit of a coding spin, each team programmed a digital space mission badge to represent their mission and add their own personal touch.
