Let's Play A Math Game

RHMS Grade 1 students worked very hard over the last few weeks to create mathematical board games. They were able to share them with the Grade 8 classes when they were completed. 

The board games were centered around any theme based on a topic of Mathematics. Most students created question cards with math equations on them while some added questions directly to their boards. The students used what they learned in language about procedural writing to write the steps on how to play their game. 

It was such a wonderful experience bringing together the Grade 1 and 8 students to spend time learning and playing together!
