Teamwork Makes The Dream Work

We would like to acknowledge and congratulate our RHMS student and his teammates who achieved top honours at the VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas, Texas which included 750 teams that competed from 60 countries.

The VEX Robotics World Championship is the largest Robotics competition in the world.  Each team engaged in a competition game titled “Spin Up” presented by the Robotics Education and Competition (REC) Foundation.  To prepare for the tournament, they worked together to design, build, and program a robot that could quickly and efficiently solve specific challenges that come with playing “Spin Up”.

The students applied what they’ve learned about STEM in their school classrooms to build these semi-autonomous machines. They also mastered skills through competition, communication, project management, time management, and teamwork.

Teamwork makes the dream work!
