STEM Tower Building Challenge

RHMS Grade 1 students had a blast taking on a STEM Tower Building Challenge using simple classroom materials like paper, cups, and other items in the classroom. With some helpful guidance and encouragement from the Grade 8 students, the young builders planned, tested and evaluated, as they worked to make their towers stable and strong.

The challenge showed how STEM learning helps children think critically and solve problems through hands-on exploration. Even better, the activity proved that STEM doesn’t require fancy supplies when kids start building, a cup becomes a base and paper becomes support, they are all important building tools.
