RHMS Celebrates Provincial Qualification At Kiwanis Music Festival

RHMS is proud to share the achievements of our music ensembles at this year’s Kiwanis Music Festival. 

Our RHMS Honours Band represented the school in the Grade 8 and Under Concert Band class, performing “Pictures at an Exhibition” arranged by Timothy Lewis, and “The Tempest” by Robert W. Smith.  Competing against a number of schools, the band received excellent feedback along with valuable recommendations from the adjudicators.  

Our RHMS Senior Choir also delivered an outstanding performance in the Grade 8 and Under School Choir class.  Their program included “Pure Imagination” arranged by Jay Althouse, and “The Swallow”, a beautiful Canadian work arranged by Ruth Elaine Schram.  The RHMS Senior Choir was highly praised for their harmonies and overall balance, and they will be advancing to the provincial level of the competition.
