RHMS Montessori students have been exploring the world of famous artists and discovering that art comes in many different styles, each using unique materials and techniques to create texture and expression. They learned about Vincent van Gogh’s Pointillism, Piet Mondrain’s De Stijl, Jackson Pollock’s drip technique, Pablo Picasso’s Cubism, and Yayoi Kusama's pop art with dots.
Inspired by these artists, the children tapped into their creativity to produce their own imaginative pieces with colourful paper and paint. It was wonderful to see them embrace experimentation and confidently create their very own masterpieces.
