RHMS Montessori students studied the human body as part of their STEM lesson. The human body is an amazing machine made up of many different parts that work together to help us grow, move, think and stay healthy.
During this unit, students learned about the major parts of the body and their important functions. They explored the five senses and also learned about the skeletal system and how bones support the body and protect our organs. The students worked on a worksheet activity where they coloured and identified the major parts of the human body by labelling them.
This lesson helped reinforce learning, build vocabulary, and develop fine motor skills while making the lesson fun and engaging.
