Montessori Community Of Giving

This month, RHMS launched our annual Community of Giving initiative where the students highlighted their trait of being generous as they shared their warmth by giving to others this holiday season. Some of the ways they gave back to the community was to donate to local food banks and to create beautiful cards with kind wishes and words of encouragement for seniors.

Our Montessori students were busy preparing their gifts to send to the local organization Rise and Shine Seniors project and their wonderful greetings were delivered on December 10th.  Each card was created with love using dazzling colours, stickers, stamps, paint and ribbons filled with sunshine to bring joy to the elderly residents. 

The holidays are indeed a popular time for giving, at RHMS our students keep a mindset to give back to our community all year long.
