The grade 5’s have been learning all about the home in French class.  They’ve learned a lot of new vocabulary about the different rooms in a house as well as types of furniture.   As the end of unit project, they were told to construct their dream house.   The students were very creative and incorporated some interesting features into their houses.  Some chose build very large houses with many floors whereas other added skating rinks and soccer fields in the basements.  All of the students also had to do a presentation for their class where they described their favourite room in their dream house.
