Students Discover Colour, Chemistry, Dinosaurs, and Space
Each Montessori classroom was visited by Mad Scientists last week for some amazing interactive lessons. Students began by using special diffraction glasses to investigate rainbows more closely. Then they learned about various laboratory equipment to create their own volcanic explosions. Next, they headed into space to experience life as an astronaut and participate in a moon rock challenge! Finally, they travelled back in time to become palaeontologists where they investigated the eating habits of herbivore and carnivore dinosaurs. They also created molds of dinosaur teeth and had the opportunity to take part in a dino dig!
