Grade 1s test floating devices
Grade 1s are designing and testing floating devices.
To start, the children crafted their own floatation devices using provided materials, which included popsicle sticks, foil and clay.
Students tested their devices by placing pennies on the device until it could no longer stay afloat. The highest penny count reached over 30.
