Decorating Pysanky
A Ukrainian tradition
RHMS Grade 2 students have been studying the Ukrainian pioneer tradition of decorating pysanky (eggs).
The eggs are painted with traditional Ukrainian folk designs using a wax-resist method.
Students were provided with hard-boiled eggs and patterns to replicate.
