Preschoolers learn fire safety

Montessori students enjoyed a visit from the Richmond Hill Fire & Emergency Department, this week.

Children learned what to do in the event of a fire, including planning an escape route, not hiding, and not going back for any belongings. The preschoolers also watched two educational videos on fire safety, and were invited to view the fire truck and its components, including the hoses, thermal cameras and lights.
