Preschool students are learning about weather patterns, and recently enjoyed a tornado in a jar experiment!

Using water, dish soap, along with a roll, shake and twist -- fast-moving "funnel clouds" formed. Montessori students each had a chance to shake and view the mini tornado.

In this experiment, glitter was also added, making it easier to see the interaction.
