Rubber Band Racers
Senior students were tasked with assembling rubber band (elastic) cars, as part of a team building activity.
Grades 7 and 8 students had an opportunity to view a video on rubber band racers, were provided materials, and groups had to work as teams to create their cars.
In this activity, students were also expected to measure the distance their car travelled, as well as communicate their design process and results.
