Programming 101

Ms. Greenstein’s Grade 2 Science class just finished their Programming 101 unit on Tynker, a STEM education application that teaches children how to learn code. We are extremely proud of their achievements and hard work completing a unit that is geared towards Grade 3 and 4 students.

They learned how to include input events, conditionals and animation to their projects.  Some of the completed work included a piano game that can play music by tapping different keys on the iPad, a quiz game to test people’s math knowledge and a game where they help a monster eat jelly beans.

Our RHMS Grade 2 students are very advanced programmers!
