Montessori Inch By Inch

Montessori students did a lesson on earthworms this week. They studied the book Inch by Inch by Leo Lionni. This book tells the story of an inch worm and how inches are used to measure things. The inch worm uses his ability to measure different animals to convince them not to eat him.

The children learned about math and measurement and they ended the unit by creating beautiful artwork based on the robin and the worm in the story.
