Dash The Pollinator

As part of their Biodiversity Unit, the Grade 2 students have been learning about the importance of pollination. Students were challenged to program the Dash robot to “pollinate” a flower by creating an algorithm that would take Dash to one flower and then another flower. 

Through this activity, they demonstrated the process of pollination while also practicing their coding skills. Students needed to plan the route that Dash would take, build their algorithm, run the program and then revise their code.
