As part of their Cell Unit, the Grade Six classes at RHMS observed both prepared and live cells. In observing microscopic living organisms such as Amoeba proteus and Volvox aureus, students were able to observe first-hand that living things can indeed be only one cell in size.  

Students polished up their microscope skills as they learned to prepare a slide and focus it properly.
