The days leading up to Halloween are always exciting for the Montessori students at RHMS. The children started by learning the anatomy of a pumpkin, from the leaves all the way to the seeds that lay inside the bright orange shell. Once they were familiar with this fall season staple, they all took turns helping their teachers clean and decorate them for their classrooms.
It is always a treat to create wonderful artwork to set the mood. One classroom even made a spooky haunted house for all to visit! To end this Spooktacular festivity, the Montessori students enjoyed a supercool dance to showcase their Boo-tiful costumes and prepare them for a night of ghoulish fun!
